"Karma"

Ch Showdown's What Goes Around
RA TKN PDI
September 25, 2015
Sire: Ch Blackjack Stackin' The Deck
Dam: Ch Showdown's BonTempsBeauty RA AXP AJP CA CS TKN CGC PDII

Karma is from a line breeding on Blaine (GCh dal Primo Magic Moment), out of Sookie. She is very balanced with plenty of bone. She is a very outgoing girl and makes friends everywhere she goes.

Karma started her show career with a bang. Her first experience was in the Beginner Puppy class at the Linn County events at 5 months. She was handled by a friend while I ran Pandora in agility. I made it back in time to watch her win Best Beginner Puppy in show. At 6 months, Karma was shown in Bred By Exhibitor going Winners bitch on both days, as well as a group win in Bred By Exhibitor. At her second show (7 months) she picked up her first major going BOS. At 12 months, Karma traveled to Tulsa, OK to compete at the ABA National. She won Best Bred-By Exhibitor and finished her championship by winning Reserve Winners Bitch.

Karma has also played in agility and Rally.

Sookie was a very balanced athletic girl that had her mom's happy-go-lucky attitude and plenty of energy. She also had an excellent working temperament. Sookie will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Sookie finished her championship easily, including 4 consecutive majors. All wins were out of the Bred-By Exhibitor class. Along with showing in conformation, Sookie has competed in agility, completed the Lure Coursing Ability test (CA), Carting Started (CS) test, Rally Advanced (RA), and Trick Dog Novice (TKN). She has retired from competing in agility but made it to the Masters level in AKC, having achieved Excellent Preferred (AXP) and Excellent Jumpers Preferred (AJP) as well as the intermediate level Perfomance in USDAA (PDII). Sookie is also a Canine Good Citizen and certified with PetPartners as a therapy dog.

Sookie whelped 7 beautiful puppies sired by Blackjack's Stackin' The Deck on September 25, 2015 and 8 beautiful babies with BIS GCh Affinity's 3-Sheets To The Wind CGC on June 2, 2017. These litters have earned her the Silver level for Register of Merit (ROM) with the American Bullmastiff Association.

Pandora was a very happy girl whose tail was always in motion. She loved everyone she met, making her focus in agility a bit difficult. She was of moderate build with a very smooth gait.

At 7 1/2 months she got her first point out of the Bred-by class on Saturday, then went on to win the Bred-By Group that afternoon. On Sunday she passed her CGC (Canine Good Citizen) test with flying colors. Later that day she thrilled me by winning Puppy Best-In-Show!!!

At two, Pandora finished her championship with a bang by going WB for a 5 point major, BOW, and Best Bred By at the ABA Regional Specialty at the Rose City Classic.

Pandora produced a beautiful litter in 2013 with Blaine (GCh dal Primo Magic Moment). This single litter earned her a Silver level Register of Merit (ROM) with the American Bullmastiff Association. Pandora continued with her agility training to the open level, achieving her OAP and OJP. Pandora also certified with Pet Partners as a therapy dog.

"Rose"

Rose was bred by Taun Brooks and Marilyn DeCair of Wildheart Bullmastiffs. It is very fitting that she was born on Valentine's Day as she was as sweet as sugar. Rose's Accomplishments:

  • International Puppy Group 1
  • BOB on her first birthday (over specials)
  • Best in Sweepstakes at the 2004 NW Regional Specialty
  • WB at the Jan. 2005 NW Regional Specialty
  • Finished her Championship 2 days before her second birthday going Breed over specials

"Tequilla"

Ol West Tequilla Sunrise

September 29, 1997 - November 6, 2009
Ch Ol West Sitting Bull
Ch Ol West Ellie Mae

Quilla was to be my first showdog, but unfortunately for me, she didn't agree. She hated the show ring, and it definately showed. She placed in her puppy class at the 1998 Nationals and accumulated 11 points, including both her majors, before I agreed to retire her.

Her next endeavor was agility. She loved classes and was doing very well. Once again though, her career was cut short. She had a very strong prey drive which helped her excel in agility, but also made her untrustworthy off lead with small furry creatures around. Once again, she was retired.

Quilla's next job description was to rule as queen of the household, teach puppies to respect their elders, and primary bed warmer.

We lost Quilla at the ripe old age of 12. She will be missed.

"Mony"

Ol West Annie Oakley Shastid

Soon after buying our first house I realized I didn't feel safe when I was home alone. I needed a big dog one that looked intimidating but wasn't overly aggressive. Our first Bullmastiff, Mony, was all that and more. To know him, was to love him. He was pet quality due to lack of mask, but in our eyes he was perfect. He loved people and was very easy going--OK, lazy.
We lost Mony much too soon. Just after his seventh birthday he was diagnosed with brain cancer. We fought a hard battle, but he succumbed in the end. He is missed by many

"Wyatt"

Wyatt was the last of my wirehairs. He was an amazing hunter and even better companion, always good for a laugh. He finished his AKC field titles (Field Champion and Amateur Field Champion) as well as his conformation championship, owner trained and handled. GWPs will always hold a special place in my heart but sadly, no longer fit my lifestyle.
